June 3rd Meeting Announced

The members of Beyond Black and White have slected a book to read and discuss by June 16th: Stone Butch Blues by Leslie Feinberg. - "A gift from one of the most inspiring and revolutionary voices of our time." --Emanuel Xavier, author of Americano
We'll be meeting at the South-East Corner of the City/County Building Grounds
(West across the street from The Leonardo). June 3rd, 8pm.

Assignment: Bring a poem, song, or other media/art example that reflects your LGBTA (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Ally) experience. It can be an accurate representation, a misrepresentation, or if there isn't either a thoughtful response to why there isn't either.

During our first meeting we focused on three pieces “Richard Corey” by Edward Arlington Robinson, “The Scream” by Edvard Munch, and Britney Spears “If You Seek Amy.”
